These views show a wet area that combines a rectangular freestanding tub and an open shower, separated by a tiled half wall. Large white porcelain with gray veining covers the walls and floor, the shower floor is a small light mosaic, and all fixtures, the rain head and the recessed niches are matte black.
Putting a tub and shower in one tiled zone means the whole area has to be treated as wet: waterproofing on the walls and floor, a planned slope to the drain, and a half wall that is solid, sealed and tiled on every face. Black niches and fixtures are set out on the tile layout so they line up with joints. Drain type, slope, membrane system and fixture rough-in are confirmed for each project.
